The Future of Mediterranean Security Between Security Threats and Uncertainty
Abstract:
This study examines uncertainties regarding the future of Mediterranean security starting from four levels, where the first level relates to preemptive political action plans against security threats, while the second level participates in drawing this security future all Mediterranean countries as a way to define the various sources of convergence, or difference to build the future Mediterranean security, and at the third level, a common future vision for Mediterranean security is built through deep-rooted regional integration. As for the fourth level, the future of Mediterranean security is linked to promoting sustainable cooperation and disseminating the methodology of foresight as a decision-making tool. The study found that failure to enhance political link and integration Economic reflected negatively on setting a common future security vision.
